Making Peace

This is a continuation of my previous post The Ripple Effect. I dedicate this post to CV -- a kind-hearted man who will no longer have the opportunity to give his side of the story.  My original intention in writing this post was to act as CV's voice and clear his name as this chapter of his life closed. Out of respect to him and his family, I waited enough time to write anything about this and have kept his name and details of the events confidential.

I firmly believe that Alfieri falsely accused CV of physical assault. How do I know the accusation was false? Did I witness this incident? No, I was not there and was not a witness. So how can I claim that Alfieri made a false accusation?

Well, let's not forget that Alfieri shamelessly accused me of theft and slander while he was the one who defrauded and defamed me.  It does not surprise me that he would make stories about others. Just a month or two after he sued me in September 2011, he filed a harassment order against the former co-director/editor of "Looking for Clarissa" claiming she tried to push his Porsche off the road while driving at high speed on Santa Monica Blvd (Century City/Beverly Hills area). First of all, when can anyone drive fast on Santa Monica Blvd in that area of town? Second, he was the one who was driving the Porsche, wasn't he? And the most recent legal claim made by Alfieri that I am aware of was against his own Homeowners Association. I was told that Alfieri lost that lawsuit.

It is clear to me that Alfieri feels that he can use the "law" to try to intimidate or get money from the opposing party.  The problem here is that Alfieri uses outrageous untrue allegations to build "his case." These stories built on ridiculous lies eventually collapse.

It is true that I am still dealing with Alfieri and his unwillingness to take responsibility for what he has done. But my case is only a civil matter. What CV had to face were criminal charges that could have potentially meant time in jail. Although CV was clearly innocent, it is undeniable that he was scared and stressed as he awaited his trial.

I really do not want to get into specifics about what happened between CV and Alfieri. It does not really matter any more.  All I need to say is that CV was not aggressive or confrontational. On the contrary, he would always offer a smile to everyone with whom he interacted. CV was someone who saw the good in people and believed in generosity and forgiveness.  He did not assault Alfieri, nor did he want to continue having any conflict with him.

There was an opportunity to settle the case without going to trial. CV happily accepted the opportunity while Alfieri had the audacity to add even more fabricated lies to his previous version of the facts.

All CV wanted was to make peace, as he said to me, he just wanted to shake Victor's hand, be cordial to each other... and live in harmony.



It is unfortunate that the unfair stress to which he was subjected was what eventually took a toll on his health. He developed an ulcer that led him to the Emergency Room. The next morning, he passed away.

Our words, actions... even our thoughts and intentions touch everyone around us -- EVERYONE --  especially those who are targeted as recipients of such words, actions or thoughts.

Let's live with awareness and treat others with respect, compassion and kindness. We are mirrors of one another. What we give, we receive.  Let's choose peace over war and conflict... And let's first make peace with ourselves so we can extend it to everyone else.

May CV's soul rest in peace. His memory and spirit will remain with us forever.

TMZ Reported...

"Bold and the Beautiful" star Victor Alfieri is safe from future attack ... because the man he accused of assaulting him with a hair brush has been ordered to stay out of his hair ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ...  Alfieri had a close shave last month ... claiming his neighbor, xxx,  hit him in the face with a hairbrush. The soap star claims xxx has been hair-rassing him for more than a year.

Alfieri says he can't escape the guy ... because they live in the same building.

The judge just ordered xxx to stay 100 yards clear of Alfieri... except when they're in their building at the same time.

WHO WANTS THIS TYPE OF PUBLICITY?

None of the comments posted in response to this TMZ Article is kind to Victor.  I genuinely feel bad for him. I am not sure he intended to have this become so public. Why would anyone want this all over the internet?

I will not make any comment about this TMZ piece. Let's just hope Victor keeps safe and away from xxx. Or should I say? I hope his neighbor keeps safe and stays away from Victor.

Sharing My Story

I had made it a point to be completely "transparent" as I share my story and what I have experienced. After being slandered in court papers and the media, I felt I had no other choice than to tell the "whole" story without concealing or omitting any facts. I disclosed everything.... everything! I mentioned people's names to add credibility to my story. See To Cast and Crew. I especially mentioned those who, in my opinion, "aided and abetted" in furtherance of the unethical and simply "wrong" actions during the Trevino-Alfieri saga.

I did not do it with the intention of hurting anyone. I was simply telling the truth as I experienced it.
I have learned that my transparency has affected others who are or have been involved in this story. Just because I am ready to share what happened and be as honest as I can, does NOT mean that others are ready and willing to do the same.

My previous post Deceit mentions a writer I hired to work on a script based on the Trevino-Alfieri Story. My mentioning of her name created big ripples in her life and in the decisions she has been making lately. Her demand for money she clearly did not earn, triggered my writing of that specific post. Just three days after I wrote the post, she went to the Los Angeles Superior Court and answered to my complaint. She sued me for $1,250.

I had recently opted to remove her name and to only include her initials - not because I am afraid of her lawsuit, but because I do not believe it is really necessary to disclose her name to tell my story. I believe that she has been visiting my blog and googling herself nonstop to see how much my mentioning her on my post has affected her online.

Although I know I am not making libelous statements, she believes I am. Why? Because she can only see her limited reality where she believes she is entitled to what she has taken and to what she is now demanding. Or maybe she knows that she is clearly in the wrong and all she can now do is to look the other way and reinforce her position. Whatever it is... it is her journey and not mine.

We get to see the truth only when we are willing and ready. And even when we are willing and ready, there is always a filter. We only see, hear and consider what we choose. I am not anybody's judge and have no control over what they see as right or wrong. I have no control and no right to teach others any lesson. Lessons are only learned when we are ready.

What if we lived in a world where nobody lied? What if we did not have a filter when expressing what we truly thought or felt?  Watch the trailer below for the movie "The Invention of Lying." The movie is brilliant and poses the question of what a lie really is and how it can affect our lives.... even for the better.

I am ready to continue my journey. I am willing to search within myself and find my truth. I will do it with integrity and respect for others' personal story and truth.

Sunset Boulevard

This morning I was walking by the Coffee Bean on Sunset Blvd., I thought of Victor Alfieri and how funny it would be to run into him there. I even imagined cheerfully shouting out "Alfieri" with a big smile on my face.... when a man twirling his hair got my attention...

This man was compulsively twirling the hair that was sticking out of the bandana he was wearing over his head. This is something Victor would do all the time. I remember I would slap his hand when he did  that and would say, "stop doing that!" because it truly got on my nerves.

When I got closer to him, I observed, his face, his profile, his clothes.... It was Victor Alfieri!!! I think he also saw me but pretended he did not know who I was. He immediately put his headpiece (connected to his cell phone) in his ear and started walking the opposite direction.

Larrabee Street

Last year, I was living in an apartment on Larrabee and Santa Monica Blvd. He knew I lived on Larrabee because I had told him I moved there.  This is before we broke up and, of course, before the scandal erupted. However, he did not know the exact address. Please see map on left. "A" is where I used to live.

After publicly accusing me of being obsessed with him and of "stalking" him, I found him following me and driving by my apartment building several times.  Anyone from West Hollywood knows that Larrabee is only 3 blocks long. There is really NO reason to drive on Larrabee if you don't live there or if you are not visiting someone who lives there. San Vicente Blvd, a major street, is just a block away from Larrabee Street and can connect you to Santa Monica Blvd or Sunset Blvd.

It was clear that he wanted to know where my apartment was and spent numerous hours driving down the short 3 block street trying to figure out where EXACTLY I lived. I remember one day as I was exiting my garage, I cut off a car that I was approaching. I waved at the car with an apologetic gesture. I realized it was Victor's Porsche... with Victor inside. Because he was right behind my car, I could see him in my rear view mirror. We were both heading toward Santa Monica Blvd. We were going to have to make a right turn. But, through the rear view mirror, I saw how Victor freaked out and made an immediate left into an alley. At that point, he had succeeded in finding out where I lived.

Just a couple of weeks after this incident, a mutual friend who was visiting me saw him on the corner of Cynthia and Larrabee. I actually met this mutual friend through Victor, himself. He also had problems with her and they were not talking anymore. He was again in his Porsche signaling that he was going to turn right onto Larrabee Street, my block - and as I said before - really no reason to go that way. He saw my friend and "freaked"... What did he do this time?  He continued going straight on Cynthia with his right blinker still on!

Why would he drive by my place???? What was he expecting to get out of it??? Was he spying on me?  So who was stalking whom?

When he and I started talking again after I dropped my lawsuit against him, he was very persistent in getting my new address. He claimed he would send a copy of the first cut of the film by regular mail. I refused to give my home address to him although by now, he probably knows it. He proved to be a good investigator.

It is really ironic how close the two of us are geographically. Next time we run into each other, I hope to be able to say hello and communicate like two adults. He is the one who started all the conflict. He is the one who created a slanderous lie about me that grew too big to be manageable. If he offered his sincere apologies and told the truth about what really happened between us.... Well.... I could only dream!!!!

Staying in Touch

LinkedIn might know something I don't about business. Two days ago I received this message from them - "Adriana, Staying in touch with valuable contacts can help you in your career. Quickly connect to some people we think you know. Victor Alfieri, Actor at Warner Bros. Pictures."

I am aware that LinkedIn uses your address book and previous emails of people with whom you have communicated in the past. Victor and I exchanged thousands of emails in 2010 and 2011. No wonder LinkedIn believes we should connect in business.

It is funny that now his name appears first every time I open LinkedIn. It appears as the top suggestion to connect. Maybe I should reach out. He is the director of the movie I financed. We are still doing business together..... We should be "Linked In."

I will report on what happens with my request to Victor to connect. Will he connect with the Executive Producer of his first feature film?  Will he reject the request?  I now have almost 900 connections on LinkedIn. He could certainly benefit from it.

Update as of February 13, 2014- Dr. Manuel Saint Martin comes to Alfieri's rescue once again, now threatening to take me to Arbitration.   Please read - Advocating for Justice.

The Trevino-Alfieri Story is a clear depiction of someone "running amok." In this case, that someone is Victor Alfieri, brooding over some perceived wrongdoing by others - the crew, the cast and, mainly ME.

In the grip of strong emotion, Alfieri obtained a weapon - legal action driven by media manipulation. No wonder I believed Victor had gone insane and out of control. He was simply "running amok."

His bad case of amnesia is also explained by this condition, as Dr. Saint Martin states in his article, "Running Amok: A Modern Perspective on a Culture-Bound Syndrome." This legal battle got Victor so exhausted.... making him collapse and, in this case, as a result... he suffered from amnesia.  Wow!!! I finally understand.

Manuel Saint Martin, this brilliant psychiatrist, is also an attorney who practices law in California. He is a professional witness in court cases. And now, he has become Victor Alfieri's legal counsel in the pending matter against him and Bondolini Productions.

And now I wonder...

Why did Roger Muse withdraw as Alfieri's attorney from that case???  

Hmm... has Roger read this blog? Does he now know all the facts supported by evidence that contradict Alfieri's outrageous tales?

Is Dr. Saint Martin Alfieri's treating psychiatrist??? Can he act as both his legal and "mental" counsel?  

I don't know. But I am glad Victor is getting help.

Why would Alfieri continue with this legal battle when the plaintiff was willing to dismiss the lawsuit against him and Bondolini Productions without asking for any monetary compensation?  

Ah.... I get it... He is still "running amok" and needs to act out his delusions and perceived wrongdoing by others.

"Today, amok should be viewed as one possible outcome of an individual's undiagnosed and/or untreated psychiatric condition with psychosis or severe personality pathology...To date, there is no medication that has been proven to specifically treat violent behavior, and since violence results from multiple factors, it is unlikely that any such medication will be developed in the near future."

I hold no resentment against Victor for what he has done to me. I understand what it must be like to feel that there is a continuous battle to fight and win. I sure hope he gets to come to the realization that whatever happened on set, back in 2011, is done. It's in the past... We should all move on.

It is difficult for me to ignore all the red flags and suspicious activity that still surround this movie project. Most of my friends and family tell me to just ignore all of it and to "move on." I have already closed the chapter on the personal relationship I had with Victor Alfieri. That is done! However, I am still dealing with post-production and trying to get this film finished and distributed.  So the only way for me to completely "move on" is to give up my WHOLE investment and forget I was ever part of this movie... plus I would have to ignore all the unethical and seemingly fraudulent things that keep coming to my attention.

Just put yourself in my position. First, remove the personal/intimate/romantic relationship. That is not a factor anymore. Now, ignore the betrayal, disappointment, loss of money, legal battle, slander and scandal. What are you left with? An investment you want to recover and lots of suspicious activity that cannot be justified.

Would you wait until the movie got sold and ignore behavior that you consider shady, unethical and possibly illegal? Be honest with yourself. Would you ignore it???

Victor Alfieri has clearly betrayed me. His public attack with false allegations has damaged my reputation and hurt my business. I know it has been almost two years since that happened. I can leave that behind and move on.... the problem is that Alfieri continues to conceal information. He continues to do unethical and suspicious things.

I thought that because during our depositions many facts were disclosed, he would be more careful with his actions when I dropped my lawsuit. I thought he would be more respectful, honest and ethical. I was wrong.

Past Suspicious Activity and Unethical Behavior

Alfieri would prohibit me from talking with anyone involved in the film project. Now I understand that he did not want me to say anything that would contradict his lies.

Alfieri made many "cash deals" claiming he was saving money that way. There is no way to verify how much money was actually paid and how much Alfieri pocketed.

Most of the Italian expenses were covered with cash payments and no receipts. This is extremely suspicious. There is no paper trail. The amounts can be easily made up. 

Alfieri did not want to get SAG actors. We all know the legal implications and the lawsuits against him that he avoided.

Alfieri was accused of sexually harassing the lead actress and, four months later, accused me of doing the same to him. This is a common reaction of someone who knows that he has done something wrong.

An actor and good friend of Alfieri's, was the holder of the life insurance policies during the production of the film. This is very suspicious. I, as the sole financier of the movie, should have been the holder of such policies, as my investment was at risk, not anybody else's. 

Victor Alfieri took my money from the account without my authorization, disconnected his phone and disappeared. If there is a person who would not consider this theft, I would like to meet that person. 

Alfieri claimed that he did not steal the money he took from me, that the money was INTACT in a bank account, when in reality he had immediately used most of it to hire Roger Muse to sue me. No comment here.

There are many more suspicious/illegal/unethical things he did in the past. I was willing to put all that behind and continue with post-production. I even publicly retracted my fraud allegations against him hoping that it would help get this project finished. 

Current Suspicious Activity

• Cash payments to crew
• No written agreements with current crew members and/or service providers
• No legitimate receipts for substantial expenses
• Refusal to provide names of "alleged" new investors and their singed agreements
• Refusal to take any of my input into consideration
• Refusal to honor my agreement (breach of contract)
• Personal Assistant, C.R.  This is laughable. I know Alfieri has no PA.
• The movie is not listed on IMDb

This is a portion of the email I received from Alfieri's "PA":

"In regards to your request for the contracts and information of all the investors and crew, we are unfortunately unable to provide them at this point. After learning of your blogs in which you mention everyone by name and their actions, disclosing private business emails and matters, all of the investors and post productions crew have requested (in writing) from Bondolini Productions to keep their information strictly confidential. Therefore, we are not legally in position to disclose any information to you or any other party at this point. "

I replied to that email and offered to keep the new investors' names confidential. I got no response. Alfieri's refusal to provide this information is breach of contract. I also voiced my disagreement as to terms and credits awarded with the investment. I have not given written authorization to most of the things that he has done.  What it is important to point out is that Alfieri continues to breach our contract again and again.

This is my personal opinion:  There are no other investors or they are investing different/lower  amounts than reported. Alfieri is getting most of the work done for free or at a much lower fee while promising to give producer credit to those people who are not paid fully. He is inflating the budget, claiming he is paying in cash or cashier's checks while, in reality, he is pocketing the money. I also believe that he is trying to cut me out of any future revenues.

I might be wrong... I really hope I am... And I do hope this project reaches completion and I get to recover my investment.

Yesterday, my good friend, Roxane Davis forwarded to me the LinkedIn message below that she received from Victor.

It is good that Victor Alfieri has decided to be "professional" and expand his business network. He wants to reach out to all possible business contacts. Nothing wrong with that... However, what he seems to forget is that Roxane was Clark J. Gable's manager during the production of our movie and that his attorney, Roger Muse, threatened to sue her. Now he wants to connect?

Roxane's reply to this email was simply, "you're kidding, right?"

Alfieri's desire to expand his network did not stop there, he also sent a LinkedIn request to the movie co-director/chief editor. Her lawsuit against Victor is still pending... and he wants to also connect with her?

He probably did get AMNESIA and does not remember the he has burned bridges with so many people... He certainly burned the bridge with me and broke my trust.

Update on Post-Production

Alfieri has not kept me informed of the status of the movie. He claimed there were two new investors but has failed to provide their names, copies of their agreements and proof of investment.  He continues to breach our written agreement again.... and again.

The Loan

In early 2011, Alfieri's financial situation was terrible. He was about to lose his home in California. He told me I was the only one who could help him. His home was already on foreclosure. He also had a second loan and a debt to the Home Owners Association.

He had originally invested about 17,500 in the film. He took about half that money out because he really needed the money to pay his bills. On March 3, 2011, he told me he needed to pull his investment out but would leave enough money in the account to cover the LLC taxes and the clearance of the "Arturo Bond" movie. When I did the accounting in the summer of 2011, after the movie was shot, I realized that he had not contributed one penny to the LLC. In fact, he owed about $300 that he used for tanning, gasoline, meals, etc.  I had been the SOLE financier of the LLC and both movies, "Arturo Bond" and "Looking for Clara."

This is the email he sent to me asking me to allow him to get his investment out. At this point, he had taken out more than he had put in.

This $14,000 were going to be a PERSONAL loan. Victor later decided to include the loan in the budget of the movie. My required investment to produce the movie went from $100,000 to $130,000... and later to $150,000. We went over budget when filming in Italy... And of course, he later took what was left of my investment, $17,500 and used it to sue me.

I did love Victor. I loved him unconditionally. He knew I would do anything for him. And I did.

What Victor did seems unforgivable. It is hard not to judge or react to the way he behaved. Sometimes I wonder if he set me up from the beginning or if he simply let his lies take over his existence.

The Most Creative and Memorable 

Claims Made by Alfieri

10 - He does not mix business with pleasure.

He constantly claims that he is very professional and respectful. He also claims that he does not mix business with pleasure when he gets the investors' money by sleeping with them.

9 - He had very professional disputes. 

This is just a funny quote by him - "very professional" disputes. It is simply memorable.

8 - He likes to make sexual jokes because he is Italian.

When he was asked if he ever made sexual comments on set he said NO. Then he admitted to asking Clark J. Gable to bend over in order to get more lines. He also admitted to telling Nicole Sienna to give him hugs to get more lines. He claimed that he was joking... but that is what sexual harassment is! He justified his sexual jokes by saying:

"I am Italian. That's the way we joke. And I like to joke like that." 

7 - His house in Italy - he doesn't own it legally... but it is his!

He had told me (and many other people) that he owned both his house and his mother's house in Italy. He told me he paid CASH for them. He owned them free and clear. During his deposition he claimed that his house in Italy belonged to a friend of his and later added... "but it is mine!"

6 - He was also the Prop Master. 

He added, that he would "take the knife back so no actors would injure themselves." When asked about safety on set. He admitted to bringing and using a real knife on set. He also admitted to using a real operating drill for a scene, claiming that he did so to save money. No money savings can justify risking actors and crew.

5 - I was his personal assistant and had access to his phone and computer. And he has WITNESSES!

Really???? This is truly laughable. Why would I be the personal assistant??? I was the one with the money and the professional education and career. I did not have any access to those items. Alfieri guards his phone like the most valuable treasure. I would also LOVE to meet the witnesses.  Alfieri's great imagination is limitless.  

4 - He sued me because he is not a thief.

During his deposition he stated that he filed the lawsuit against me because I told his mother I was going to call the FBI and put him in jail forever.. and that he was not a thief. He then used the money he had taken from me - the money that was "in dispute" for which I had called him a thief. He used it to hire Roger Muse to sue me. If that is not stealing... well...  at least, it is an innovative way of investing someone else's money.

3 - He had a Facebook Hacker.

He gave a beautiful explanation on how "hackers" operate. According to Alfieri a hacker is an IMPERSONATOR.  I must have chatted and flirted with the hacker. I could have sworn he sounded just like Victor and looked exactly like him on skype. 

2 - He did not send personal emails to me. I must have "texted" myself.

Because he did not want to be held accountable for any emails or text messages that contained personal information confirming our intimate relationship, he claimed that I had access to his phone and that I could have easily texted myself.  Brilliant imagination!!!

And the most creative and memorable claim made by Alfieri:

1 - There were 8 people out there impersonating Victor Alfieri.

No words can describe how much joy and laughter this simple quote has brought into my life. I am grateful to Victor for coming up with such imaginative tales.

Friends With Benefits

When Victor had his extreme case of paranoia in mid June 2011, he made it clear that he did not want to even run into me. He told me that I had to stay away from the places that he and I used to go to together. I told him that it would be difficult as we lived just a few blocks away.  He responded that he moved to West Hollywood first. He asked me to move somewhere else and to leave him alone  He also said that if he saw me in those areas he would consider it harassment and would think that I was seriously "stalking" him.

We went from being lovers, best friends, business partners to "enemies." He clearly stated that he did not want to see me and that any contact from me would be considered harassment.  I could not believe this. I actually thought he had gone insane.  His mother and I continued talking everyday during the whole summer until Victor took my money from the bank and disappeared on August 3, 2011.  Daniela, his mother, would constantly tell me that Victor loved me, to be patient with him. 

Marco Cuadros, his manager, also told me that Victor was not being himself, that he apparently had gone crazy but that he would go back to his usual "him." I wanted to believe Marco and Daniela. However, Victor was getting crazier by the minute.  I felt that he was trying to set me up for "harassment." As soon as I realized that, I confronted him and made him admit he had had a sexual relationship with me. I wanted to have it in writing... And I got it.  Here are the text messages we exchanged.

He admits to sleeping with me and asks me if I slept with him to make a movie with no money... according to him, in his world I got "a hell of a deal"!  DID I???

Then he starts talking about always being honest with me about our friendship.  He knew how much I loved him and continued sleeping with me. He had many opportunities to stop the intimacy and he did not.

In the text messages below, he admits again to sleeping with me. This time we talk about being friends "with benefits." He said that he stopped the benefits because I was going crazier.  Who was going crazier???? He was.  His statement was clearly a projection!!!

My attorney told me that these messages were enough to prove that he and I had an intimate/sexual relationship. These text messages were introduced as evidence during Victor's deposition. You will not believe the justification he gave.  Read "Premeditation"and watch the video.
